I'd love to go but i got a new job and am on a 1 year probation with limited time off. But i was on the phone with Lloyd just before i got this job and we were talking about running the Sierra's in August. He doesn't get on the wire much these days maybe you could call him up Ray.

Hoping I can go but like many it's too far out for me to plan right now.
And what do you mean by it's not a bash your rig trip. The last time I did the Dusy I had to stop often to pick up body parts that kept getting torn off my rig.

8 days +/- 1 day... I'm thinking of meeting up either Friday or Saturday night and wheeling the entire week until the following Friday or Saturday.

Lloyd just called. Said he can probably make it if do it starting on Labor Day weekend plus we'd have one day less vacation time required.
I'm ok with that but I just hope it's not too busy since it's a 3 day weekend.

I can't make it the week before or after Labor day. That's when my kids start school.

Body Damage is Cool

Thought I bring this up as I have to start planning my days off. My suggestion is to Meet up Saturday the 4th at a specific camp site, start the first trail (DUSY) on Sunday the 5th and work our way from there... try to finish all the trail by Saturday so those who want to have a day at home before going back to work can take off that day. That will make it 6 days of wheeling! The Dusy will take 3 days and we can plan 3 more trails around the area for the remaining of the week. I say we start the Dusy first... if your truck is gonna survive one week of hell (I mean Four Wheeling ) then getting thru the Dusy is a good test!
Minimum requirements: 33" tires Rock sliders Good Attitude
Let's start doing a head count!

Thanks for bringing this back up Carlos. I agree the dusy should be run first and the other trails afterwards. Gotta finish mounting the winch though!
