Getting the Wheeling Fever
Question: I understand from what I have read here that some late 80s SWB Monteros have the 2.6 liter 4cyl and others have the 3.0 v6. In those equiped with the manual 5 speed, do the 2 engines share the same bell housing bolt pattern ?

Body Damage is Cool
No. They are different. BUT, the autos can swap bellhousings to fit the 2.6 on a 3.0 auto trans(not sure about the other way around...that would be cool)
SWB 2.6 84?-89
SWB 3.0 89-91
LWB 3.0 89-91
