I read once (from russell?) that the center caps for the aluminum alloy (aka "LS") rims and the steelies are slightly different heights.

The retainers should be the same (for alloy & steel that is - front retainers are cut/sliced, the rear retainers are solid ring), but you may need to specify what caps you need (alloy vs. steelie) and ensure your seller knows which style he has as well.
