I've lucked into a brand-new 4D56T engine that I plan to swap into my '87 Raider come warm weather (I live in Maine). Does anyone know what oil filter this engine takes and if there's a source here in the U.S. for the filter?

From the second post in this thread. It's a Wix 51067, NAPA 1067 and Baldwin BD28. Readily available at any decent parts store.

Be sure to read stickied threads that are at the tops of each forum. They're a wealth of information <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Body Damage is Cool
you can just source it from a 1983-85 4D55 Dodge D-50/Mighty Max.

Thanks! I finally did get one from NAPA, but it was $29. Ouch!

Not a terrible price. I sell it to the shops for $23. Still, it's an expensive little sucker...
