Got a problem with the fuel pump in my 95 Rodeo. I thought at first it had just stopped working so I replaced it the other day but when I went to crank it up...nothing. I had thought the fuel pump had gone bad because it wasn't making any noise when I turned the key so that's the reason why I started there plus it's never been replaced. But I took some wire and tied that to the battery to check the old pump and it still works. Soooo I'm thinking I have a electrical issue to the fuel pump.
I was driving home from work one day so it was running fine then made a stop at the store, went back out started right up then spuddered a little and as soon as I put in gear it quit. Tried starting it again and it tried to run but quit before I could put it into gear. Then it wouldn't start at all which is how it is now....
I have checked the relay and swapped them with others that are the same and they seem to be fine.
Any suggestions of where to start looking would be greatly appreciaated.

Thanks again in advance...

I tried doing a search and didn't come up with anything or I'm just plan doing it wrong.
