Great to hear!

My experience with drilling cast iron is the bit likes to self feed. Esp when enlarging a hole. That probably explains it wanting to turn the engine over.

The other thing with cast iron is the graphite that breaks free as you drill and tap it helps to lubricate the cutters.

Really glad to here you were able to get the insert in! I was scared to read your posting.... I didnt want to hear a sad story!
