In terms of the rules regarding bodylifts in Aus (NSW), no vehicle with airbags can be body lifted if it has airbags as it might change the way the mechanism works/deploys... I think that might be the reason. Vehicles with no airbag can be bodylifted, but even then sometimes you might be required to get it certified by an engineer (depending on how high you go).


Varies state to state. Also varies depending on where the accelerometer sensors are for the airbag deployment unit. I had it done in Vic, Don't know if it is quite legal up here <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />
