Hi FOURSKIA,

Try this company in QLD

https://www.suspensionstuff.com.au/shop/...d92e7080a51191f

They do a 40 mm and 70mm spring for the Sportage. 70 mm is for the big bum (I have been wanting to ask what the difference is for a while) ansd says further suspension modifications are needed.

Adjustable pan hard rod for the rear would be one

Let us know how you go.

Cheers, Chris

(rules in Aus are quite strict, body lift in not an option due to the fact that my sporty has an air-bag... cus that would of been the perfect solution along with bigger wheels/tyres).

What is the rule for body lift with air bag?

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Thanks Chris, I'm going to give them a call on Monday, and I'll keep you guys posted, hopefully with some before and after pics if something is possible... which reminds me Hydra747 has explained how to post pics so I'll post a few tomorrow.

In terms of the rules regarding bodylifts in Aus (NSW), no vehicle with airbags can be body lifted if it has airbags as it might change the way the mechanism works/deploys... I think that might be the reason. Vehicles with no airbag can be bodylifted, but even then sometimes you might be required to get it certified by an engineer (depending on how high you go).

Sportage, 75mm lift, 30"s A/T,UHF& HF, AVM hubs and more to come.

Varies state to state. Also varies depending on where the accelerometer sensors are for the airbag deployment unit. I had it done in Vic, Don't know if it is quite legal up here

Thanks gusys for all your help... I've tried that suspension company here in Aus, looks like they have a 3 inch spring and shock system...looks promising but a bit pricey. At the same time I have contacted Everet to see if a upyourkia set up will work on what I currently have installed.

P.S. I will finally get around to posting those pics later this arvo, I will have one of my CB radio which I'm very proud of, basically looks like it came stock.

O.K. looks like Hydra747 gave me great instructions on how to post pictures.

Notice the cleaner section of the shock, thas was due to some fourwheeldriving over the weekend. Has anyone come up with a solid solution for this (other then an outrages left)?

Hi FORSKIA,

What was the damage and what was included in the complete kit? PM me if you like. I have been meaning to ring them for a while and I would like to find out if the 3 inch kit would fit a little bum.

Cheers, Chris
