Thanks gusys for all your help... I've tried that suspension company here in Aus, looks like they have a 3 inch spring and shock system...looks promising but a bit pricey. At the same time I have contacted Everet to see if a upyourkia set up will work on what I currently have installed.
P.S. I will finally get around to posting those pics later this arvo, I will have one of my CB radio which I'm very proud of, basically looks like it came stock.
Hi FORSKIA,
What was the damage and what was included in the complete kit? PM me if you like. I have been meaning to ring them for a while and I would like to find out if the 3 inch kit would fit a little bum.
Cheers, Chris
Hi Chris,
It's not so much a kit, basically just some longer springs (front and rear) 3" and some longer shocks for the rear from a brand that I've never heard of. They say that you can use the original front strut (as they don't have a larger one), but this will mean that you will extend the front strut very quickly with any sort of front wheel airtime and have very little articulation. Damage is $330 for the springs and $120 for the shocks. They are Dobinsons coils
http://www.dobinsonsprings.com/pdf/KIA-51.pdf , no mention of the 3inch raise for the short body. I didn't know their was a difference in the rear spring setup?
Regards,
FOURSKIA

P.S. I posted this new subject because I wanted to see what was available to the guys living in Aus in terms of a medium lift without too many mods. I will post my results in the already established 'Lifting a kia...' section once I decide which way to go about it.
I read somewhere on this forum that Everett has an ajustable panhard rod, 2002 Sporty is trying a different backspacing on the wheels...my question is, does any of these things stop the rubbing?
