I just went through this except mine backed out, sheared the pin and seazed to the crankshaft. After breaking the head off the bolt I broke a Snap On easy out in the bolt and had to grind it out. I found a 14mm x 1.5 heli coil kit that you can replace your threads with. You might have to buy a right angle drill and a short 9/16 drill bit. Buy the new upgraded Mitsubishi bolt (it doesn't have the shoulder part and is much shorter).
