You are very observant! The wiper arms were getting corrosion protection and a top coat of black paint.

I'm surprised someone didn't ask about the side-view mirror on the driver's side, or the absence of one from the passenger side.

These side view mirrors are awesome! The convex mirror provides a wide view, there is absolutely no blind spot, and they are amazingly helpful in heavy traffic or when backing up in close quarters.

Why only one? My teenage stepson decided they were ugly and took the mirror off the passenger side before I could stop him.
