Most of the Mitsu V6's had an issue with the crankshaft bolt - I'm not sure if it was actually a recall or just a service bulletin, but there's an updated crankshaft pulley bolt that should be replaced on most of the 3.0s and early 3.5's, along with a higher torque value for the bolt. Your Monty is late enough that it might not have the bolt issue but now is the right time to check on it. I'm not even sure where to start looking for info on that but hopefully someone with more knowledge of the subject can chime in and enlighten both of us.
