The reds are a-n-g-e-r-y.

We have the ordasity to supply Taiwan with more weapons.

I don't know what China is all upset about. America doesn't have the balls to go to war with a "real" county with real weapons like China anyway and a few billion in American arms isn't going to do jack to the red army and navy.

So, if China decides to march into Taiwan they'll get all kinds of neat American made hardware that they can steal and then copy.

Of course, since America doesn't build anything worth jack, the Chinese probably figure we don't have anything they want. Besides, half the stuff we're sending to Taiwan probably has Chinese parts in it, anyway.

Now it will be interesting to see what kind of back peddling firms like Boeing decide to do in the face of a very angry, but major commerical aircraft customer.

China has this country by the short hairs. Considering that, you have to wonder how much of this is just political grand standing by both sides.

If we actually had an principle left in this country, our largest trading partner wouldn't be a communist nation, who respects zero American or Democratic ideals or human rights. And certainly wouldn't have pissed away through enormous fire hoses, every last bit of our industrial technology, and might to the worst country in the world, thus creating a newest and potentially largest superpower which is now just a few years from knocking us complete of our pedistal.
