http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ONE-OWNER...=item25588c7225I live close enough to get it but i thought despite its low mileage that it was too rusty! The rust over the wheels looks pretty serious. Looks like its gonna go for a pretty hight price!

That's the strangest looking manual transmission I've ever seen (sarcasm). He listed it as a manual in the description table.
The rust is a serious issue.
The price is too high.
Pass on it.

Not too far for me either. Been watching it and waiting for him to cut the price 75%. I'll take a high-mile n0-rust anyday over that one at that price.

You really need:
No rust to start with. It'll start to rust as soon as you hit your state line anyway. (Sarcasm)
DOCUMENTED PROOF of timing belt replacements on the V-6 engines. If you don't get it, you're going to need to do it. It's a 60,000 mile maintenance issue.
DOCUMENTED PROOF of the crankshaft bolt having been replaced with the latest updated part number. Part costs next to nothing. Broken part can cost you a LOT.
Here's another tip. When you look at a car on EBay, and the seller lays out documentation in a photo, and one of those documents pertains to Yokohama tires, yet the vehicle has Michelin tires on it...they don't really care what they are selling you.
At $2500 and climbing, I'd probably look for something newer (later models are much more comfortable and just as capable), and trade higher mileage for better service history, per above.
You came to the right place to ask, though.

I also sent the seller a note asking him to update the listing with a note about how it is not a manual transmission.

Yeah, be patient and wait for the right one. Given the rust you can see, I'll guarantee that every single bolt underneath the truck is rusted in place.
On the other hand, that certainly is low mileage. Given the front trailer wiring socket, I'll bet it was pulled behind an RV for some of those miles.

I saw that, too, Marc. I just hope that if the wheels were on the ground while it was being towed, it was done properly.

I wouldn't really be that interested in it. For the fenders to have rot that badly, you can only imagine they rattle canned over the rust on the frame. I would pass on that thing so fast, and this comes from a guy who is removing his body from the frame to fix rust. Still cheaper for me at this point.

They went to the trouble to detail it, including steaming the engine, but can't take a picture that isn't blurry.
