Got the truck all washed up again today, and I can see what these sliders are made of.

They are made of very tough (very) steel. There was a point on the Crown King trail where is was easier than anything else to steer into a rock and gun it a bit to pivot around the rock toward the driver's side. I inspected the slider today, and the metal is even smooth to the touch, like it hurt the rock more than anything.

There isn't a single dent or ding in these things, and they took a couple of hits. Great product, even greater installation by Toasty.
