So ... no Horsepower increases <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Horsepower is overrated, it is the torque at low revs that makes the vehicle "drivable".

"horsepower" = ricer talk <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

I guess it depends on what you use your rig for? Torque initiates movement & Horsepower takes over from there.

As you can see by my mileage, I drive a lot of freeway miles and wish the Sporty had a little more Horsepower as well.

The added torque would be nice but I wish I didn't have to run around at such a high RPM when passing and such.

Horsepower is torque/revs, horsepower being the derived unit. You cannot simply have more/less hp without it being as a result of torque.

Horsepower doesn't "take over".

see "Machine torque" and "Conversion to other units"
