Hypothetically I wonder if it could be carried without a concealed weapons license. It isn't concealed yet it isn't an obvious weapon either.

I understand Brians point......A simple Glock at your side will be less cumbersome and less actions needed to draw the weapon. A Glock and a flashlight goes a long way.
