So where are you getting the laser cut sheet parts? Looks great!

No laser cut parts on this project, my Milwaukee port-a-band/drill press do the dirty work.

Here's a fone pic of this weekends work.

Danny, I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around this off-roading stuff. On your sliders, you only have 1 bar that runs front to rear, but most have 2 per side. In my head, since I've never seen them used, you have the frame, the middle bar and the rocker panel bar that allows it to slide over a tree or rock. Is your design going to make that happen? Sorry, but like I said I've never seen them in use.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but the sliders are mainly there to protect the body. They should slide over things in the trail easily, although I thought about sheeting the bottoms with aluminum.

Well from the pics they look good. You're making me regret stripping the Monty back down to stock.
I do have a started Mighty Max and a good deal of interesting parts sitting around, however.

I'm looking forward to wheeling with the Max when it's done.

More progress on the cage.
Actually the cage is mostly done, just need to finish some welds, and paint. The chop will have to be finished before paint so it'll be a while. There's a wheeling trip in April I'm hoping to make so I have a deadline now.

The final tubing, an x in the b hoop, with some bends to clear the front seats(I'm 6'3",need to lean back a lot ).

Steering column mounted to dash tube, dash was gutted a little but bolts back on the same mounts. I lost dash vents for now, no room with the dash tube, I'll have to look into some flexible ducting, but not in a hurry, the defrost ductwork still fits.
