Very sweet!! Do I spy a sas front as well? And the rear, stock or... So what gearing and size tires are you plannng to run?

Not exactly sure what you mean, but the sliders are mainly there to protect the body. They should slide over things in the trail easily, although I thought about sheeting the bottoms with aluminum.

Based on my experience, it's best when the sliders are out well past the doors or a rock/tree will getcha. Yup, got pics and dents to prove it. Of course that does depend on the types of trails you'll run.

Looks good Danny. Only thing I'd suggest is making absolutely sure that a straight tube has to be bent before bending it. And if it does, think about the forces that'll be applied when the cage gets used. When building a cage, I always try to remember that a bent tube is most of the way to a broke tube...

SAS was completed in '08, 4.88's and 35's.

The rear is now 3 link Ford 9".

Hazy, there was no way around the bends. I sat in the drivers seat in a position that would clear straights and it was very unconfortable, and I drive a minimum of 2 hours to get to trails.

Found a pic I never posted, radiator mounts and hood latch bracket.

John, I'm not trying to start any urinary olympics. If you look at a NASCAR cage, if there's a bend, it's also reinforced in some manner.

I've also had to help cut a girl out of a poorly designed cage. On the side of a mountain. In 6" of snow and slush. And she had 4 broken vertebrae. I'm not an expert on cages by any stretch of the imagination. I do understand a little physics and try to apply it when designing the cages I've been party to building.

I said all that to say, if it doesn't HAVE to be bent, don't bend it.

it must not be bent.

All that tubework looks great.... A bent tube is better than no tube at all. Thats what she said anyway.
