This is it AzCrew is making the official Mitsu club website! ClayTK is building the site, it will have member profiles, picture hosting and a place for us guys building stuff to advertise our products collectively with personal E-mail accounts for sellers. The site will also be tied to search engines to generate more traffic, I also have a bunch of ideas for RockRash Offroad and involving you other guys building things for mitsus. If anybody has important links or content that should be on the official site post it here.

How about having a 'wiki' section where we can incorporate How To's, FAQ's etc.

I suggest wiki because it's relatively simple to create, edit, and maintain articles.

89 Montero minty clean and reserved for overlanding trips or Cars and Coffee events

that'd be cool, hopefully Clay will post up because he's the guy doing everything and actually knows whats up. I just excited about it but i don't want to build it up too much.

Myself and Toasty have been toying with the idea of having a professional website for the Mitsubishi 4x4 Club of North America. From what I was told there was a site hosted at geocities.com but has been disbanded and no longer maintained. I have just aquired a job at a reputable domain name registrar and Hosting company. I am willing to buy the domain and possibly the Hosting for it or even host it from a dedicated server at my house. First we need to come up with a domain name and decide on what TLD (.com .net .org .biz .info etc) it will be under. I think .org is appropriate but we can get them all if we wanted. Next is the biggie. what will the domain name be? The best ones are short and to the point so www.Mitsubishi4x4ClubofNorthAmerica.org would be too long for my liking. Post your suggestions and we will discuss them and other options and my ideas. I already have a rough draft of some ideas www.solistreams.com (it is a project website not real) it should be viewable by Friday Feb 19th

now now Toasty, gota start small having personal editable profiles and picture hosting takes a lot of space and databases. But yes a Wiki is perfect, better than my idea!

Interesting little "proof of concept" site there. Any thoughts to include articles on how-to as well, or no?

As for domain, you are correct about short being best but I cannot think of anything too short at the moment. Off the top of my head I come up with:
www.Mistubishi4x4ofNA.com
www.Mitsu4x4ClubNA.com
www.NAMonteroClub.com

... or some other variation of those. I am not sure at all which would be best, but that's what I got so far.

www.1989DodgeRaider.com

Please include a Photo Gallery.

A REAL photo gallery.

List Every Mitsubishi by Year and Type and have links to galleries of Photos of that Particulair vehicle.

Have Sub Galleries too. for Dodge Raiders and things like that.

Let the Peeps submit their Photos ( and captions? ) to be Reviewed and placed it the Galleries.

I would like to go to a page that has many thumbnails of Different Monteros , Trucks , etc.

The closest place to see something like that would be Car Domain. but they cater to all vehicles not just Mitsubishi.
