Getting the Wheeling Fever
Greetings.

Recently I had issues with my T-100 the engine start missing while driving.

I founded that it was caused by a 15A fuse blown located on the fuse/relay block on the driver's side of the engine compartment, so i replaced it for a new one but and it was ok for a few days but suddenly it just blows, then i changed for another one so i could drive a few blocks until i had another fuse blown.

Upset i went to the mechanic and he told me that the blown fuse controls the EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) and that it may be a short caused by the fuel injection wiring harness that could be deteriorated. I know they're expensive

Any thoughts?

Harnesses can have the insulation wear thru and start grounding wires; basic electronic stuff.

Time for you to start chasing down the problem. I had an ENG fuse a few years back do the same thing. Fixed the wiring.

Yup...sometimes it's from someone doing work and having something rubbing up against the harness. Just take yer time tracing the wires and go inch by inch. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

So what was the fix; wiring? If so, where? Good to know if this should be a spot to keep an eye on for folks.

Check RockAuto's prices for a cat.
