I did both my Upper Control Arms last summer. Had a heck of a time as the rear spindle on both sides were seized to the sleeve. There was no amount of anything that I could have done with what I had. So I had to grind them out and replace with new.
The control arms cost $115.00 each
The Spindles cost $18.00 each.
I do have the Part Numbers on both Spindles if you need. But I am sure yours may come off.

The hail mary came through....Good info for my job to be.....I am sure that mine will come off though and I bought a new driverside hub assy due to noise probs (don't have time to see if it is needle bearing,seal etc....) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/sleeping.gif" alt="" />

the bolts are about $6 each so don't know whats talked about, did not know u could get the welded on spindle brakets and align them ?

i believe the rubber bushing is whats being talked about or at least thats what i am and yea bolt is the cheap side of this problem the dang rubber has a metal sleeve that runs through it and seizes to the bolts making alignment a b---- or impossible.


01 w/31 in. mtr,winch,elec.fan ,4 in.suspension lift and 4in. body lift,front and rear hitch. NOT ENOUGH POWER so V8 and solid axles coming soon.2013

upper bushings # is 0K01134830A about $19 each wholsesale.

lol....post text in pix...well I loaded it up in Corel Photo Paint and did all that right on the photo.

I didn't know that you could get the bushings, ball joint and control arm as separate pieces. From what I heard when getting them for mine it was an all in one unit, and that's how they come. I don't think I would want to mess around with buying it all in pieces and putting it all together to install. Seems like way more work than needs to be.
