Unless you're partial to the '89 original grille, I'd suggest considering the earlier style.

I replaced the grille on my '89 with the older style because there is greater flow area on the earlier grilles..... IIRC, the '88 grill has about 20% more open space than the '89. What is available on the '89 may be plenty, but I like the idea of more radiator exposure.
