Well, the 2.6 shares its block with the 4d55, so no worries there for the motor mounts, you reuse the ones from the montero. There is a great thread about ranger-montero swap on this board, that is what convinced me to attempt to do the swap. In a short while, i'll have paperwork (ranger wiring diagrams) sent to Montymycv, he'll put this on his site: mitsubishilinks.com To find an engine has been fairly easy uphere in Canada... Just found a low-miles rust bucket for cheap... You can check LESPAC.com if you're willing to have it shipped to your place...just a thought, don't know about u.s. market for these engines...
