Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread Modifying existing Gen 1 bumpers to increase entry, exit angles #988249 03/03/10 05:17 AM Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 29 Colorado USA R RockDoc OP Getting the Wheeling Fever Has anyone ever tried to cut back the frame attachments for a front bumper (and reattach) to bring it closer to the front of a Gen 1? Would significantly increase the front entry angle. Front Skid plate would have to refitted as well. Rear bumper seems harder as end caps would have to be cut to fit, I'm wondering if the rear half of the bumper could be cut off and replaced with steel plate covering the resulting hole.
