So after getting the truck back after being down 1month and paying for a valve job, the truck was losing it's idle. The engine runs 'smooth', but after about 20-30min the idle would slowly drop. I would adjust it up, but it would always move down. The weird part was the 'cold' idle stayed the same.
I took it back to the shop.....turns out the idle screw was moving.
Happy ending =)

FINALLY. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
Old trucks can be a challenge to keep running sometimes. Especially if you're taking your girls to the mountainous backroads around Death Valley, and its gotta be right.
Missed you on the February trip this year. Sad to see Barker Ranch after the fire.

Yeah...the girls were pretty bummed....even though we made it out to Furnace Creek.....they felt there was too much 'civilization'....we had an RV, but they insisted we still sleep in a tent....we tried to meet you guys at Darwin Falls...but that road was rattling the RV apart...would have been fun in the truck though.
