As mentioned, you are going to want to match size of your motor to the doners motor.

Although, I have had the SR5 cluster in mine now and it came out of an automatic. Pluged right up. Of corse my fuel guage doesnt work but it didnt work with the original cluster. I believe its just my sending unit, which from what I hear, needs to be replaced with a SR5 sending unit in order to have the low fuel light...

BTW, I have a '87 4cyl 4x4 5sp and used an '85 4cyl 2wd Auto
