Wash your hands in very hot water to shrink them and toughen the skin. This will let you get your hands in there far enough to cut them really good, and the toughened skin on your shrunk hands will tear really impressively. I know some really good curses to put on the guy who used the screw clamp and put the thing on so you can't get at the screw head, too, and some more for the one who used the spring clamps that you can't get pliers on to squeeze them open...
