The hose that fails most often is the one on top of the intake, that one is not a horror to work on.
If you need to change the one from the bottom of the intake to the tube around the back of the engine or the heater returnI would suggest disconnecting a battery cable. You will be working right above the starter and if you get a tool into the battery cable you will be even less happy that when you started.
