Hey Toasty what gears do you have? Once I figure out what it is that I have here I might have some 4.88's you could have.

I've got 4.63's and i have the little diff in the front and the big diff in the rear. I should call dibs on your 4.88 anyways because i know someone here needs them if i can't fit them.

Rigged up my fan for a test drive and took it to the streets, It has a hesitation but i can tell that this engine has some good power. I just need to get it sorted out now (see my other post). The truck itself drives pretty nice it's a little stiff but i think the gen 1 coils will fix that, it's pretty easy to break traction in the rear . I hope to have the power steering done this week sometime because it sucks not having PS. I might start on the exhaust tomorrow and make rubber isolators for the tool box because it's super loud, I also decided on a 2" body lift for sure. The 35's rub on hard turns with bumps and my roll bar bumps the body on large bumps, It turns out i made it too close up top

Engine is getting closer to 100% it passed emissions today and is running great except for my cold start problem. I bought most of the material to finish the flatbed and as soon as i get some more work done on it i'll post pics. I plan on swapping in the SR rear axle this weekend and hopefully get some of the bed done.

I do need to update this thread with some more recent pictures, i?ll need to re host my pics and do a pic recap. I got the new power steering pullies on but now i have to modify the pump mount until i can order an original one. The one that i have doesn?t align the pullies since it came from a 3.0. I did get more tops this weekend and installed one on the truck and i really like how it looks (it has a back window now!). The tops i bought are bikini, tonneau and a windjammer all for $45 and the windjammer is new and OEM Jeep. ClayTK came over and installed my CB that turned out to be broken or at least a bad speaker but at least the wiring and antenna mount is done. JohnnyBfromPeoria delivered a new alternator, jackstands and locker control computer, I installed the new alt and so far so good i think it?s keeping up with the power demand. The locker computer is pissing me off since I can?t find where to plug it in at Unless Mitsubishi didn?t always put it in the same place on all Monteros I think it?ll have to be wired up on it?s own. I finished the gap guard on the driver side, it has a ripple but i think i can live with it still have to cut the plastic for the passenger side. The last thing I did was make the license plate holder with lights, I still need to tap the brake lights for power but it?s on and painted.

Thanks to Clay, Johnny, Kevin, Pat and Keith for helping or contributing today
