Oyaji_Jon will be assuming moderator status of the Communications and Outdoor Gear Forums.

He has some ideas for articles promoting the use of amateur radio.

He will have a little bit of a learning curve from the back end but he is a long time contributor to the forums.

Thanks, Phil.

I appreciate the trust you've put in me John. Time will tell whether or not I can live up to the task. I'm poking around to see what I can come up with in the writing arena.

I'm glad to be part of the team, and if anyone sees fit to straighten me out anything, please do so at any time. Most of you know I don't get butt hurt easily, so I'll take anything you've got to give in terms of putting me on the right path in this role.

Thanks again.

Lube? What's that? I've been in the Navy for 17 years, Ray.

Welcome Jon! Having been in the Navy for that long, you probably wont require much lube. I was in the Navy too(Seabee), and I use old Christmas trees to keep the South end tidy. It is a great group. Hope you enjoy them....Now where is that toilet brush? Be cool....Mike
