Thanks for posting that. It's definitely interesting. I'm surprised at the tensile strength rating, which is better than 6061-T6 aluminum (medium strength/fairly common aluminum).

Still might have a problem about thermal expansion/contraction, just as with welding aluminum, but not sure how big a difference it would be. When welding aluminum the weld is weaker than the rest of the material being joined. So this could be an interesting alternative.
