Whenever I have to put more than about 3 oz. on to get it balanced, I return the tire. If I ever bought custom wheels, I'd always do it locally because even though I'll pay more, I can check the wheel balance before ever putting a tire on them and return the ones that don't balance well.


The tires I had on em before were much smaller. Maybe 225's or so. There are 6oz of weights on some of the wheels! Sadly I got the tires off Craigslist, but supposedly only have 100 miles on them. Possible my wheel got hot when my caliper was sticking, in turn warping that wheel? Or would just a bad rotor cause that kind of vibe?
