Well the rim width alone isn't a problem. The offset and tire width are far greater issues when going wide.

I run 33x12.5x15 tires on 15x8 rims with a neutral offset without issues on my gen I v6 and 35x12.5x15 tires on 15x10 rims with 4" of backspacking without issues on my 96SR. In both cases I do have a 2" body lift and torqued torsion bars. On my gen I, I also have gen II rear coils which also provides some additional lift.

How wide do you intend to go?

I suppose either, I was just trying to expand my options, and it looks like I can <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

ETA: How wide can I go with a rim without modifying?
