I checked into this when I was looking for wheels. After going and checking on quite a number of possibilities I ended up with some SR wheels. Some of the wheels that fit lug wise do not let you have enough center bore. Others are not offset enough and lessen your track + limit your tire options due to clearance. Others I looked at just seemed flimsy.

I also thought about wheel spacers for some of the non offset wheels but decided against it wanting the load sharing on bearings/axles to be as close to OE as possible. If I remember right Ray had a nice sketch made out about wheels and offset versus needs.
