The rear coils in my LWB are starting to sag and that combined with the tbars cranked means I sit pretty low in the back and if I have a load or any trailer larger than my jetski it sits VERY low. I read some posts on here where people recommended airlift airbags that go in the coils. Seems like the perfect solution because I could pump it up to a 1-2" lift to level out w the front and could pump it up even more to level a large load or bigger trailer.
Most threads seemed to be about using them on a gen2. Does anyone know the part number for a LWB gen2? Also someone mentioned to get one that was a couple inches longer than whats recommended for the stock coils(I assume this is to get more lift), any input on that?

My recommendation would be to get a pair of GenII coils and put in there. That'll give you back a little lift and they're progressive rate to boot. Reuben runs the airlifts on his GenII, maybe he'll chime in with his experience. I thought there was somebody in a GenI that them too...

I've been keeping an eye out for those at pull-a-part but haven't gotten a pair yet. I'm sure they'd help but I feel the airbags would really be the best solution(maybe in combination w gen2 springs). With the bags I could keep it level even when I have a bunch of stuff in the back or a trailer.

Gen 1 and two use the same diameter coil spring so the airbags will be the same for both.

I have been running them for years, great load capacity. But if you wheel a lot, I have rubbed holes in a couple of them. You can buy replacement bags separately. I have gone through a few. Great fix for what you are looking for, but not the final answer.
Check out Michigan truck springs. Never had a problem buying from them.

Cool well I think I'll go ahead and order them when I get paid next. Way it is now even with 200lbs of cargo in the back and no other people the rear end sits on the bumpstops. I was reading this thread http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat.p...true#Post344583 and in the second response they give the part number for slight;y longer bags. Any input on this? I would like to get about 1-2" of lift in the back so it's leveled with my cranked Tbars up front. Also I think the montero PN is for a gen2 which have slightly shorter coils than the gen1 so that's another reason for going with the longer ones.
