Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Well my 90 trooper's Auto tranny finally gave up tonight. The tranny light started flashing for the first time in its life, and now when I put it in drive it just dies. So I had to drive it about a mile home in L gear. I guess 185,000 miles is good for a tranny.
So my question is where is the best place to get a new transmission. I am really looking to just purchase a re-manufactured unit and just put it in. Since it is cheaper then getting it rebuilt. So does anyone know of a good place to purchase one. And also what year troopers have the same tranny as me. Cuase there are some good priced ones on ebay, but they are for like 92 and newer. will they work? Thanks, Kyle
