Hey everyone. I have been skulking around the forums for about a month now. Finally got some decent pics, so I felt like showing the montero off.

I bought this 1991 Montero v6 LWB 170k from a good friend that took great care of it. He put a new motor (30k mile from fleabay) and clutch in it before he sold it off to me. Its got a few leaks coming from the oil pan but that will be addressed in a few weeks.

I have some major plans set for this rig. Full OME suspension, Rock sliders, body lift, 8000lb winch, roof basket, light, bumpers. maybe a 4bt cummins 4 cyl turbo diesel way down the road when this v6 kicks the bucket (no small undertaking).

The carpet has been stripped out and a hard undercoating was sprayed in by the previous owner. Its a tad brittle but I like it.

Hope to meet some fellow monty drivers someday.

Wonder if anyone is from Oregon on here...
