I just got back in town. Those look great. I can definitely work on the mounting part. It all really depends if people want to see the mounting screws or rivet or want a smooth look like in the top pic. Thanks again and I will post what the total set up with mounts looks like.

cut a frame out of some sheet metal and glued it in. Then riveted to the tabs i left on the frame. Glue i know horrible but it does one thing and that is hold my deck in. It hasnt done me wrong yet.

I've got an Autocad drawing of the perimeter of the top of dash panel already done, and it's no trouble to add three holes to it. Let me know. I had it set up for 4 1 1/4" mini gauges and one 2 1/16. I need to know what size gauge holes you want. Std. is 2 1/16 and 2 3/8, IIRC. I had it set up for 4 corner screws. You may need some of those U bend screw catcher thingies, and you'll have to hog out some of the plastic chassis stuff underneath the pod cover to get the gauges to fit. There's gauge light wiring already to the pod, and there may be other 12v in there, too, don't remember.

It has been awhile since I was able to get back on this project. here is how I am mounting mine. And to match the allen head look with the gauges the top bolts are allen head bolts. i still have to drill the holes but I thought I would show the mounting part. i used a thick type of super glue to hold the coupler to the washers. You need about 1-1/8" coupler. they do not make it. my choice was 3/4" or 1-1/2". the washers worked out well as to add a larger mounting surface to the plate. hope it helps out. thanks again Willwinch. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
