My friend and i happen to b at a kia dealership. He asked one of the mech's to see the sporty manual. It does say it is an interferance motor. There mech says i got lucky cuz my gf was comming to a stop and had the clutch in. So lucky? dont know, just glad sporty works. As for the rear door. it seems like the power lock is not working.
