You need to figure that Mitsubishi put a 160hp? motor in a truck that is well over 2 tons. Which is why they upgraded to a 3.5 DOHC in the later years then went even bigger to a 3.8 as the weight went up. But the truck is made to tow haul kids and offroad. Not gonna be able to dust ricers in its current form. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I think OldColt has had the best results with using a 3.8 block 3.5 DOHC heads, and a 3.5 intake. He started with a 3.5 to start with though, so you or me would have to get intake wiring and ECU to make it work, along with a higher flow fuel pump depending on how much more it might require to run right.
