As a Subaru guy, I also knew exactly what you were refering to when I read the title. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
For the record, thier safety reputation is well earned. Even back in the early '90s folks have been walking away from wrecks that would put Toyota or Honda drivers in the hospital.
I've been catching up on 7 years worth of reading here on the 'wire, and from a few of the pics I've seen it looks like the Monties do pretty well in that regard also. Speaking of walking away! check out this Audi wreck! I hate paying for the maintenance on my S4 but things like this make me appreciate the car. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...%26tbs%3Disch:1

I hope you aren't saying that's good....... if so, how would you have liked to have been riding on the passenger side of the vehicle?
One of my daughters has an aluminum bodied Audi TT - I'm kinda glad the lease is expiring and the car will be returned to Audi very soon.

By no means is it good! I hope people don't drive that fast with family in the car. High speeds in any car is going to do that with a tree. Plus All that I said was "speaking of walking away." The part that I appreciate is if I do drive fast I'm in the drivers seat.
