The official offer letter and all is still in the works, but after being called into a lunch meeting today, two days after my initial interview, it appears I'll be hired on as a Shipping, Receiving, and Traffic Office Supervisor. I'll be responsible for the department that does billing, records, and such for a growing 3PL group here in NW Ohio. After being 'on the bench' for a year and a half, it feels pretty good to have some steady work to look forward to again!

Thanks everybody. It's pretty thrilling to be back on line in my chosen profession. Maybe now I'll actually be able to start saving up to get a new wheeler. The next vehicle buy will probably be a gas-friendly commuter though, as it's about 30 miles away.
