Tundra seats in T100 anyone? #994211 04/20/10 01:10 AM

Need a Spot
The dog got pissed off at me and decided to take it out in my T100 60-40 seats. He chewed up the foam pretty good so a reskin of the seats will not work.

Since I need to replace the seats, I thought why not the Tundra 40-20-40 seat as it offers more than the stock T100 60-40 seat.

-Has anyone put a Tundra seat into a T-100 ExtraCab?
-Do the bolt holes for the track line up with the T-100 Cab holss?
-Anyone take the Tundra seats and mount them on the T-100 tracks

-The Tundra has four doors while the T100 has 2 doors so my other concern is if the Tudnra seats slide up enought and fold forward enough for the T100 passenger entry to the rear seats. For you Tundra owners as well as those who put Tundra seats into a T-100, does the Tundra seat slide forward enought and does the seats fold forward enough like you see in 2 door vehicles for access to the back seats?

Any and all info is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Thats a bummer. and because dogs are so cute, we let them get away with it. The good news for you is that there are some options, the bad news, they are not going to be cheap, and not going to be too easy either. I had a 60/40 split, and the springs where shot so, I could not really drive my truck for more than an hour with out starting to suffer so, I researched options. the best cheapest and color matching would be to find a set of buckets from an SR5 t-100, but, good luck with that.

You might be able to find another 60/440 in a junk yard too...

The tundra is wider than the t-100 so the bolt holes dont match up. The new tacoma is about the width of the t-100, but I have not checked to see if it matches up

Corbeau and Recaro make aftermarket seats, and with an adapter from Wedge Engineering, you can bolt them up. (the adapter was about 110 about 8 years ago)

I found (got lucky) a right side recaro orthoped, and because it was a right seat, I was able to get a fairly good deal on it. the increase in comfort is amazing. Super comfy, I can get behind the wheel and stay there for 5-7 hours straight (pretty much drive from full to empty on the gas gauge)

I have the "60" side out of my '96 T-100. It's "oak" in color and in pretty good shape. Currently it is bolted to a couple of pieces of wood in my wife's library (in an elementary school in SC) and used as a chair in a corner. If you are interested make an offer (if you were closer, we could talk in terms of beers) and we can look into shipping.
