looking for the size of the oil pressure sending unit. I have a autometer ele. gauge and looking for the adapter for the sending unit. any idea? thanks they said it a 1/8 brittish

Correct, 1/8 Britt pipe.
I have dressed the threads to 1/8 NPT in the past.

Get a 1/8 NPT tap and rethread it, or get a 1/8th NPT to 1/8 BSP adapter. 1/8 NPT is 27 TPI and 1/8 BSP is 28 TPI.

Do you have British straight pipe or British taper pipe?

These are taper pipe. Straight will not work.

I got it in there!!!!!!!!!!!!! its not leaking. I have the adapter that autometer says to get. its a 1/8 to a 1/8 british. part number 2269. and I called them 3 times and they ask for make and model. and they would get back to you. still waiting... the new adapter is not tapered. but it in there. and working

ok got the call back. that is the only one they have for that app. I told him about the taper 1/8 britt. they told me to go to earls.... nice.
