Roll Me Over
*****
My driver's t-bar was almost maxed out at stock height when I first leveled my truck. I was able to clock (clockwise) that bar 2 splines and the the pass/side 1 spline to even them out. I needed to do that to level my truck after adding coil spacers in the rear.

John - I know what you mean about reinstalling the adjuster bolt after reindexing. I had to put a jack under the t-bar lever to get the bolt started. Having said that, I still had to use half of the adjustment range to get the right height.

Justice - I agree that cranking the t-bars will not preload the bars more or change the spring rate, but I do think it makes for a more choppy ride because the control arm angles are different.

re-indexing is when you remove the bars and rotate them one (or more) spline inboard and then re-install to give the adjusters more range of motion to twist the bars. This may get you some extra lift with worn bars, but wont give you any additional stiffness IMO.

Yes, that makes sense. Considering my bars have no trouble bringing up the truck to a normal max height AND I don?t think this rig has seen a bump in it?s life till I bought it, adds up too, I bet the bars are "fine" and I just crave something beefier than stock. I tried to get some feedback on the iron man bars vs the OME and no one spoke up, guess I will flip a coin <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
