Have you tried "re-indexing" the bars yet? That might give you what you need up front with out replacing the bars.


When I last had my torsion bars out and missed the proper index mark by just one notch, the adjuster hung down so far I'm sure I would have hit it on something. Your bars would have to be pretty tired for it to work right, I think.
