I'm doing some research for a project I'm considering. I was wondering:
1) when is the earliest year the tundra was mass produced with rear disk brakes standard?
2) What is the width of the axle hub to hub?
Just trying to figure out if the tundra rear axle might be a viable option instead of trying to find a rear disc kit for my 95 runner.
thanks

08 fullsize tundra has rear disc, the gen1 tundras have drums.
Not sure the width, but I can tell you its MUCH wider than the gen1 tundras and t100s.

those kits are sweet! yes I have considered the sequoia and even the late model 4runner limited sport edition rear axle but they seem to be pretty hard to find at rhe wreckers. just like to find something close in width equipped with discs and ebrake, then modify the mounts however necesary and bolt the whole darn thing on.

Brian K. Gallus I have nothing important to say.

Thank you for the correction, IDK why I thought fullsize tundra came out in 08. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
