It would be pretty simple if you started with a 3.5 DOHC motor as all the 3000GT stuff would bolt right up (relatively speaking). The SOHC are doable. Head over to the plymoth aclaim and duster forums. They are the kings of single turbo sohc 6g72 motors. I've done one single turbo on a 24v sohc 6g72. It put down 485 at the wheels but it was a lot of fab work and some goofy plumbing.
After a lot of thought and planning, I've decided to simply start with a 3.5 dohc SR. I'm getting lazy in my old age lol
