Thank you very much for the pictures toyrunner as of now, the crank and cam are in the right position, sad thing is, they were all along. I"m goint to try to re-time it tonight. I am jumping the right plug, does it matter if you jump it before initial start up , or jump it after you start it. I was jumping it after I start it, but when I do it, the truck doesn't idle down or make any change in how its acting at all.

The list of things I'm going to do in the next 24hrs.

Re-set the distributor timing (cam and crank timing already set

Install toyota 2 valve thermostat

Reset the valves

bleed cooling system

Check to see if catalytic converter is somewhat plugged.

If none of these things fix it, I'm putting a lit match to it.

But I to need to know when to jump the terminal, before or after I start it, cause maybe I"m doing that wrong, but when I do jump it I really don't hear a difference or notice any change? Is that normal?
